Harry Kane marries childhood sweetheart Katie Goodland and pays adorable tribute to new wife

England captain Harry Kane has tied the knot with childhood sweetheart Katie Goodland in a secret ceremony.

The couple went to school together and Kane proposed during a holiday to the Bahamas in 2017.

The couple already have two children together, girls Ivy and Vivienne.

Tottenham striker Kane, 25, posted a series of adorable snaps from their special day with the event shrouded in secrecy as they kept the venue private.

In one picture, Kane was seen kissing his wife, 25, on the forehead while he held her over a pier on another image.

"Finally got to marry my Best Friend! I love you Katie Goodland," Kane wrote on social media.

The England skipper wore a white blazer with black trousers for the ceremony while his partner looked stunning in a white gown.

They decided on a summer wedding outside of the football campaign, with Kane having competed in the Nations League earlier this month - although the date and venue was kept secret.

Katie, who was seen supporting Kane at last summer's World Cup, dressed as her new husband for her hen do in Las Vegas earlier this year.

She wore a white England shirt with 'Kane 9' on the back, accompanied with a red captain's armband and a white veil.

Tottenham sent their own congratulations to Kane after his post on social media while a number of his teammates also sent on their messages.

England midfielder Fabian Delph posted: "Congrats to you all skip."

Ex-Tottenham skipper Robbie Keane and former world golf No.1 Rory McIlroy also sent their congratulations to the newly-married couple.

Harry has previously credited Katie with keeping him grounded despite his success.

He said: "She brings me back down to earth.

"If I score a hat-trick, Kate will say, 'Well done, you can make me a cup of tea when you get home'.

"She's not afraid to take the mickey out of herself or me. She's been there through all the ups and the downs.

"She's been with me when I've been successful; she's been with me when I've been struggling or had injuries.

"When I feel bad about something, or when I need to get something off my chest, I can just turn to her and talk about anything.
