Harry Kane makes history by scoring against ALL 29 OF 29 Premier League teams he has faced

Harry Kane made history against Sheffield United, his goal confirming his status as the only player in Premier League history to score against every team he has faced.

The England captain had previously scored against 28 of the 29 teams he'd faced, with the Blades the final piece of the puzzle.

Kane's goal was nothing more than a consolation, however, coming in stoppage time as Tottenham slumped to a 3-1 defeat.

Substitute Erik Lamela floated a delightful ball over the top to Heung-min Son, who hit a first-time left-footed cross for Kane to place into the empty net.

While Kane made history with the goal, it was only last year that he achieved the same feat, his goal against Cardiff ensuring he had scored against all 28 teams faced.

But with Sheffield United's promotion, they added another name to the mix.

Kane was unable to put one past Dean Henderson last time out, with the visitors claiming an impressive 1-1 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Heung-min Son with the goal.

While no one else has quite matched Kane's phenomenal scoring achievement, a number have come close, and continue to do so.

Arsenal legend scored against an impressive 34 of his 35 opponents, Swansea the only team alluding him.

Meanwhile, Andy Cole scored against 38 of the 40 teams he came up against, with all-time top scorer Alan Shearer scoring against 37 of 39.

Of those still playing, Manchester City's Sergio Aguero has scored against 32 of the 33 teams he has faced, with Bolton the only team he failed to put one past.
