Harry Kane has paid tribute to Jordan Henderson as the Liverpool captain closes in on a return from injury ahead of EURO 2020.
The 30-year-old has not played since February since undergoing groin surgery but returned to team training on Friday.
Jurgen Klopp has already said the midfielder won't feature against Crystal Palace and is instead targeting a return from injury for England at this summer's European Championships.
If selected, Henderson is likely to serve as Gareth Southgate's vice-captain behind Kane.
And the Spurs striker, who reportedly wants to leave the North London club this summer, has shared his admiration of the Reds ' number 14 when speaking with Gary Neville on The Overlap.
"Henderson is a great leader, Hendo, I love Hendo," Kane replied when asked who is the most vocal in the dressing room.
"What he expects from players on the training field, but he has a great relationship with everyone off the training field."
