Harry Kane has been included in Tottenham’s squad for their Europa Conference League playoff against Pacos Ferreira amid speculation over his future.
Kane is hoping that Manchester City will step up their pursuit this week as he looks to secure a move to the Etihad but Tottenham have so far held firm in their stance that they do not want to sell their talisman this summer.
Kane missed yesterday’s 1-0 victory over City, which got the Nuno Espirito Santo era off to a dream start, but trained on Saturday and could be involved against the Portuguese side.
Spurs travel to Portugal for the first-leg on Thursday as they look to book their spot in the group stages of the new Uefa tournament, with the return to follow in north London next week.
While Kane has been included in Nuno’s squad, both midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and right-back Serge Aurier are missing.
