Harry Kane believes playing football without fans is a necessary evil in order to complete the Premier League season.
The England striker also stressed his belief that Liverpool deserve to win the title, with the Reds having built up a massive 25-point lead at the top before the coronavirus crisis caused a shuddering half to the campaign.
Kane revealed that he, his Tottenham teammates and Spurs staff were all tested for coronavirus on Monday, with all the results coming back negative.
Spurs were one of the first Premier League clubs to re-open their training ground for one-on-one sessions to complement stars' work at home.
And Kane insists he is happy to follow advice on returning to training in small groups, hopefully in the next couple of weeks, as chiefs look towards a restart behind closed doors next month.
"Since the lockdown we started doing Zoom sessions pretty much every day," he told ITV's Good Morning Britain.
"About a week ago we started going into the training ground for one-on-one training, still making sure we were social distancing.
"We had [coronavirus] tests on Monday and all the players and the staff came back negative.
"The club is talking to the Premier League to try and find a way within the next couple of weeks to start training in small groups of four or five and to be tested regularly.
"We want to see what the Premier League's plan looks like and we will go from there.
"I'm happy to start training in small groups if we're allowed and to try and get back to some normality as soon as possible. I guess every player is different and they all have their own view.
"It's going to be a really difficult situation [playing without fans]. Liverpool deserve the title and to lift it without their fans will be a really strange situation.
"We haven't been through a time like this in my lifetime so it's hard to know what the right thing to do is. The fans are a massive part of football. They make football what it is so it will be different to play without them.
"I've done it before for England and it's not the same. But if we want to finish the season we're going to have to do that."
