The coronavirus crisis has hit the United Kingdom hard.
And while it has been a tough time for all concerned being stuck in lockdown for the past seven weeks, there will be a small crumb of comfort for Tottenham fans.
Spurs had been without long-term injured duo Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko since New Year's Day, after both suffered potentially season-ending setbacks.
But when football does eventually return, both should be fit and available for Tottenham's run-in as they try to close the gap to Chelsea and finish in the top four this season.
The England skipper limped out of the New Year's Day defeat to Southampton with a hamstring injury and has not been seen since, but, he will be fit to play if and when the 2019/20 season resumes.
The Premier League are planning for a behind closed doors restart in mid-June and Kane issued an update on his fitness during a special video call, aired on the Football Association's Twitter account today.
Kane got in touch with former Leeds United striker Colin Grainger, now 86 years old, to check in on him during lockdown.
And the first thing on Grainger's mind was how Kane's injury was bearing up.
And Kane delivered the news all Tottenham fans have been waiting to hear - he's fit and raring to go again - while also offering an insight into what he has been doing on the training pitch.
Kane said: "I'm doing well thank you, I'm fit and well, we've started to do a little bit more training so I've been able to do a bit of one-on-one training with the coaches."
