Harry Kane branded 'a disgrace' after missing training again amid Man City transfer interest

Harry Kane has been branded a 'disgrace' by former Premier League chairman Simon Jordan after missing training with Tottenham for a second day in a row.

The England captain was due to return to pre-season training on Monday following his participation at Euro 2020 with England, where he led them to the final before losing to Italy on penalties at Wembley.

Before the tournament however Kane made it clear to Spurs that he wanted to leave in pursuit of trophies, with Manchester City seen as his ideal destination.

The striker believes he has a 'gentleman's agreement' with chairman Daniel Levy, but despite that the north London club are adamant they won't sell their star man this summer and especially not to a Premier League rival.

Kane has taken it into his own hands now by not turning up for training when expected but ex Crystal Palace chief Jordan believes that by throwing that in the equation, he has disgraced himself.

Jordan tweeted out on his official account: "Whatever Harry Kane does or does not believe he’s entitled to, if indeed he’s staying away from [Tottenham] for no other than getting what he wants.

"This is the [England] captain supposedly the example for all young and aspiring players It’s a disgrace I hope he reaps what he sows."

The MEN understands City will only be able to land one of Kane and Jack Grealish this summer, as they also pursue a move for the Aston Villa captain.
