Harry Kane benefits from Jose Mourinho tactical decision and how Tottenham are affected by UEFA

Here's all the news from around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over the past 24 hours.

Main talking points from Spurs’ win over Gunners

Tottenham came from behind to beat their north London rivals Arsenal on Sunday, to give Spurs some much-needed confidence heading into the final three games of the season.

Jose Mourinho operated with a new-look system on Sunday, and it was one that worked for Spurs, with Moussa Sissoko being pushed wide and Lucas Moura on the other side.

It was very much back to the basics for Spurs, who were operating a traditional 4-4-2 against Mikel Arteta’s side.

Alasdair Gold on potential Spurs transfers, Mourinho & Ndombele

Harry Kane’s ability to link up with Son Heung-min would’ve been very pleasing to see for Spurs supporters, which allowed more space for the England captain to work in.

Mourinho 'likes the look of' Milik

Tottenham have been linked with a move for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik this summer, and Alasdair Gold of football.london has revealed Mourinho “likes the look of” the Polish forward.

Milik has scored 10 goals for the Italian giants in Serie A season, and with just one year remaining on his current deal, Spurs could potentially land him for a reduced fee.

Gold said: "He appears to be someone Mourinho likes the look of but his agent has been making noises about the old Harry Kane problem and a lack of game time.

“It’s something that seems to dog Spurs more than any other club, perhaps because they so rarely play with two up-front and Kane is just so dominant.”

How Man City’s Champions League decision affects Spurs

Manchester City found out that the decision from UEFA to ban them from playing in its European competitions was overturned on Monday.

City will now be allowed to compete in the major European competition in the 2020/21 season, and with Pep Guardiola’s side already winning the Carabao Cup, the next Europa League spot will go to whoever finishes sixth in the Premier League.

If any side apart from Arsenal wins the FA Cup, then the next Europa League spot will go down to whoever finishes in seventh-place.
