Harry Byrne back for Leinster as Leo Cullen turns to new faces for Zebre trip

Harry Byrne returns for Leinster against Zebre as the Blues could use two debutants off the bench at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi tomorrow (5.45pm Irish time).

With a place in the PRO14 final secured and such a hectic fixture list to come over the next month, Leo Cullen is able to dip into the Blues' academy for the trip to Parma.

Luke McGrath retains the captaincy and partners Byrne, who returns after missing last week's big win over Ulster with a head injury.

Alex Soroka starts his first game for the province after coming off the bench against Glasgow two weeks ago, second row Jimmy Dunne makes his first start of the season while Seán O'Brien and Tim Corkery are named as replacements and so are in line for their debuts.

Another academy player, Max O'Reilly, starts at full back, while academy prop Thomas Clarkson starts in the front row.

Scott Penny reverts to openside from no 8 to accommodate Soroka at the back of the scrum.

USA-born O'Brien started out playing minis with Greystones RFC before going to school in Blackrock College, where he played on the Junior and Senior cup teams. The UCD student has three Ireland under-20 caps.

Corkery is from Bennettsbridge and went to school in St. Kieran's College. He played his club rugby with Kilkenny RFC.

He also played with the South East Area in the Shane Horgan Cup before progressing to Leinster representative honours, and also has three Ireland under-20 caps to his name.

Like O'Brien, Corkery is also playing his club rugby with UCD.

If Devin Toner comes off the bench he will bring his club appearance tally to 260, just one off Gordon D'Arcy's all-time record for the province.

Replacements : James Tracy, Marcus Hanan, Michael Bent, Devin Toner, Seán O’Brien, Hugh O’Sullivan, Tim Corkery, Jamie Osborne.
