Harry Arter, Scott McKenna, Tyler Blackett - Nottingham Forest injury latest from Chris Hughton

Nottingham Forest will be without a trio of players for their trip to Blackburn Rovers, but there is better news around two recent signings.

Central defender Joe Worrall is set miss around the next two months with his foot injury, while left-back/central defender Tyler Blackett is a fresh unspecified injury concern having played in the 2-1 defeat to Bristol City, which proved to be Sabri Lamouchi's final game in charge.

Central midfielder Fouad Bachirou, who is yet to play for the club since his arrival from Malmo, is still out with a hamstring problem.

On the positive front, new boss Chris Hughton has confirmed that Harry Arter and Scott McKenna are both available for Saturday's trip to Ewood Park.

McKenna has overcome the knock which saw him miss the Bristol City game, as well as two Scotland matches during the international break.

Arter withdrew from the Republic of Ireland squad with a thigh injury which he has now recovered from.

Forest go into the game having lost all four of their Championship games with Blackburn in sixth with seven points and 11 goals on the board.

Unsurprisingly, Hughton is expecting a tough first test as Reds boss.

"I've been really impressed with them. They're in a good moment, a really good rhythm," he told Nottinghamshire Live.

"They've got a way of playing that has seen them scoring goals. Tony (Mowbray) has got them playing well.

"They've had a fair bit of consistency in their team. They've not changed personnel too much and that certainly helps. They're playing very well at the moment."
