Harry and Meghan's residence is reportedly offered to Andrew

Prince Harry and Meghan have been evicted from their UK residence by the King, according to reports. It has also been reported that the keys to Frogmore Cottage have been offered to Andrew.

It has been claimed that Charles has made the decision to remove the Sussexes following the couple's frosty relationship with the Royal Family. And it comes after Harry’s memoir Spare, released in January, shared more intimate details of his personal and royal life, including him saying he found out about the Queen’s death from checking the BBC website.

The Duke of Sussex has regularly spoken publicly in the United States about his differences since moving abroad in 2020. Now it is reported that Harry and Meghan are arranging for the belongings that they still have at Frogmore Cottage to be sent to their home in California after they have been evicted, the Mirror reports.

A royal insider told The Sun: "This surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan’s time in the UK." And according to reports, it is also claimed that Prince Andrew has been offered the Windsor home instead.

However, it is unclear whether Andrew has agreed to move in, with reports that he is “resisting”. A royal insider reportedly said: “Andrew is resisting the idea of moving into Frogmore Cottage after he was offered it last week. But it shows Harry and Meghan are powerless to stop the eviction."

The late Queen gifted Frogmore Cottage to Harry and Meghan following their wedding back in 2018. Frogmore was converted into one home in 2019, having previously been five separate properties for staff working on the Windsor Estate.

The renovation cost the Sovereign Grant £2.4million and the property is thought to have five bedrooms, a kitchen, a sitting room and a nursery first designed for Archie. Charles' decision to evict the Sussexes also raises further doubt over whether they will be invited to his coronation in May.
