Harry and Meghan's nutritionist explains what you should eat before every meal to lose weight

Arguably behind every glowing celebrity bride and groom is a nutritionist.

Both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Princess Eugenie enlisted the help of Gabriela Peacock prior to their nuptials.

Not one for fads or promoting cleanses, Gabriela, a  former model is famed for a down-to-earth approach to nutrition.

She recommends clients have five regular meals a day and to maintain a healthy blood sugar level to assist with weight loss.

"That means protein with every meal, regular snacks, and good meal composition," she tells  The Telegraph .

Gabriela also has one brilliant weight-loss tip which she imparts to all her clients.

Before you tuck in to each meal, she advises having a spoonful of yoghurt,

"By starting your meal with protein as opposed to carbohydrate, you reduce the insulin and blood sugar spikes that come from releasing carbs into your blood stream," she explains.

Not a fan of yoghurt?

In that case you can substitute it for a slice of cheese or a piece of ham.

Prince Harry is believed to have turned to Gabriela to help him lose a bit if weight prior to his May 2018 wedding, with Eugenie later also using the diet guru, who put her on a special diet .
