Celebrity pals are giving Harry and Meghan tips on the best school for one-year-old son Archie.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have spoken to private schools in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles.
Fees can typically cost almost £30,000 a year – on a par with elite boarding schools in the UK. Harry’s old school Eton costs around £42,000.
A source said: “Meghan wants to send Archie to a diverse and socially integrated pre-school.
“She has been in touch with schools and started to make plans.
"For her the big thing is that she doesn’t want Archie to attend a posh private school and wants it to be as diverse as possible.”
This news comes after reports of Prince Harry and Meghan being protected by guards who keep Hollywood A-listers safe at up to £7,000 a day have emerged.
A team watching over the couple and son Archie has been assigned by Gavin de Becker, 65 – a former security chief for President Ronald Reagan.
He is a mover and shaker in celebrity circles and his firm GDBA boasts of aiding the CIA and FBI.
It claims to protect thousands of clients including “over 90 of the world’s most prominent families and at-risk individuals”.
Services range from on-site guards to Active Shooter Prevention training to protect against armed intruders.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: “Harry and Meghan have full confidence in de Becker’s firm and they come highly recommended.
“They are the biggest security firm in LA and by far the most respected.
“They aren’t cheap, but if you want the best you have to pay for it.”
De Becker is pals with chat queen Oprah Winfrey – a friend of Meghan – and has dated actress Geena Davis and singer Alanis Morissette.
Meghan attended LA’s Immaculate Heart High – a private Catholic girls’ school.
