Harry and Meghan news latest: Duke of Sussex at Buckingham Palace for first public engagement since talks with Queen

Prince Harry has been joined by rugby players from around the world for his first public engagement since announcing he and his wife Meghan will be stepping back as senior royals .

The Duke of Sussex is hosting the Rugby League World Cup 2021 (RLWC2021) draw at Buckingham Palace.

The duke, who wore a suit, smiled and joked when he was welcomed by the RLWC2021’s chief executive officer Jon Dutton and its non-executive director Stuart Cain in the palace gardens.

Meanwhile, Meghan has been pictured visiting another women's charity in Vancouver after she was photographed at the city's Downtown Eastside Women's Centre on Wednesday.
