Harry and Meghan moved down Royal Family website and now sit alongside Prince Andrew

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have sunk to the bottom of the Royal Family website. Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and the end to the period of Royal Mourning, the official royal website gets an update and, it seems, a rejig.

King Charles III takes his place at the top and with new tiles of Prince and Princes of Wales bestowed on Prince William and Kate Middleton, the heir to the throne and his wife also take top slots along with The Queen Consort, and The Earl and Countess of Wessex, and The Princess Royal.

However, with the re-shuffle of the website, non-working royals slide down the list and Harry and Meghan now sit at the bottom with The Duchess of Sussex positioned alongside Prince Andrew, The Duke of York. Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex is ahead of her alongside The Duke of Kent. Fourteen members of the royal family are featured on the website, which details each member's work and life achievements.

The official details about the Duchess of Sussex states that, "As announced in January 2020, The Duke and Duchess have stepped back as senior members of The Royal Family". It also gives details about her marriage to Prince Harry, their children, how they split their time between the UK and US and that "The Duchess will continue to support a number of charitable causes and organisations which reflect the issues with which she has long been associated including the arts, access to education, support for women and animal welfare."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were previously reported as being featured midway down the page, above fellow royals including the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Positioning on the website may reflect the couple's non-working royal status. However, it also comes as the couple slide down the popularity stakes, according to one recent survey. Meghan and Harry were highlighted as being among the least trustworthy members of the royal family.

In a poll commissioned by the Daily Express and conducted by polling firm Teche, Brits were asked whether they trusted 10 Royal Family members. The poll revealed that most don't believe the Duchess of Sussex is trustworthy. She was placed among the three least trusted members of the royal family, beaten only by Prince Andrew, The Duke of York. Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, also joined them at the bottom.
