Harry Redknapp and his son Jamie plan to plug the hole in the live footie schedule with a show spotlighting the game’s wackier side.
Sources say ’Arry, 73, and Jamie, 46, will use archive footage and are already filming Redknapp’s Home Fixtures from isolation.
It is likely to go out on a Saturday morning in response to coronavirus putting all matches on hold.
Harry and Jamie were set to front the chat show Weekend Warm Up for Sky One with comedian Tom Davis but the virus stymied that.
Now they hope to tackle Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Ian Wright for the title as No1 lockdown pundits.
The trio scored a big iPlayer hit with a show talking about vintage clips as a replacement for the BBC’s Match of the Day.
The Redknapps promise a zany take on the same theme – on Sky.
A source said: “Even with no live action, Harry is a very watchable guy.
“He cleans up on the after-dinner circuit with his dressing room anecdotes, so producers hope he can repeat the formula on the box.”
Harry is in lockdown with his wife Sandra, 73, in Sandbanks, Dorset.
Jamie is in Surrey with his son Beau, 11, while his ex Louise, 45, looks after their other son Charley, 15.
Since winning I’m A Celeb in 2018, Harry has fronted ITV shows Harry’s Heroes and Sandbanks Summer, plus adverts for McDonald’s and BetVictor.
Jamie has worked as a football pundit since retiring as a player, and became a team captain on sports quiz A League of Their Own.
