Harrow Road crash: Man dies after being struck by minicab in west London

A man has died after being struck by a minicab in west London.

Officers were called to Harrow Road, near Royal Oak tube station, just after 10.30pm on Wednesday and found the 44-year-old man seriously injured.

Medics battled to save him but he died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the car, a white Toyota Prius private hire vehicle, stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Any witnesses, or anyone with any dashcam footage of the incident, should call 0208 54305157, quoting CAD 8097/21APR21.
