Harrison Ford seen at Scottish beauty spot filming scenes for Indiana Jones 5

Hollywood icon Harrison Ford was caught on camera at a Scottish beauty spot during filming for the highly anticipated new Indiana Jones 5 film.

The 78-year-old A-lister was seen at the Leaderfoot viaduct in Melrose holding his character’s famous whip while surrounded by the film crew.

Harrison Ford first adopted the role as adventurist archaeologist Dr Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981 and hasn’t taken on the character since he filmed 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

The star was spotted in the Scottish Borders alongside British co-star Toby Jones, 54, reports the Daily Record.

While it is not yet known exactly what the new film plot will entail, fans can look forward to performances from former Bond villain Mads Mikkelsen and Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

It’s not the first time Harrison Ford has been spotted in the UK over the past week, as just a couple of days ago he was seen out and about in Newcastle where some of the film was shot.
