Test opener Marcus Harris has defied Brisbane's wet weather to make an unbeaten hundred in the rain-marred Sheffield Shield clash between Victoria and Queensland.
Harris clocked up his 15th first-class century in between two afternoon rain delays as Victoria reached 7-219 before play was abandoned on day two at Allan Border Field.
The 28-year-old ended Tuesday unbeaten on 113 with only 54 overs completed after just 21.4 overs were possible on day one.
Resuming the day on 19, Harris had moved his score to 72 by lunch as Victoria went into the break at 5-155 with only Seb Gotch dismissed in the morning.
Rain came midway through the afternoon session, leaving Harris stranded on 98 but when play resumed he completed his hundred with a two off the first ball back.
James Pattinson (14) and Will Sutherland (20) were the only wickets to fall after lunch.
Brendan Doggett (2-54) and Jack Wildermuth (2-41) are the pick of the bowlers for Queensland.
The Bulls are looking to move above NSW to top spot on the ladder while Victoria are chasing just their second win of the season after four of their five matches so far have ended in draws.
Play is scheduled to resume at 9am AEST on Wednesday though further rain is forecast.
