Harper Beckham empowers next generation of Girl Power with Spice Girls pose

Victoria Beckham was humbled to see her young daughter posing alongside a signed photograph of her from her Spice Girls days.

The 45-year-old singer-turned-fashion designer was delighted to share a snap of her daughter, Harper Seven, aged eight-years-old, posing with a photo of her as Posh Spice.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, Vicky showed a photo of Harper posing against a wall that was coated in photos of the Spice Girls and their signatures.

Proving she is a true mummy’s girl, Harper stood alongside the photo of her mum and flicked a peace sign and showed off a sharp pout.

“When u bump into Mummy Spice!” Vicky wrote as she captioned the moment alongside two crying-with-laughter emoji’s and the hashtags: #harperseven #girlpower.

The image was well received by Spice Girls fans old and new - with many flocking to the comment’s section to give their feedback on the image.

One fan thought Harper had perfected Vicky’s trademark pout, writing: “She's looking just like you now!!”

However, others reckoned her pout was more like her father’s, with one commenting: “No she’s the spit image of David.”

While another fan thinks the youngster could secure herself an honorary role in her mum’s band, writing: “Oh wow! Sassy Spice.”

Spice Girls fans were, of course, bitterly disappointed this year when Victoria failed to make even a token appearance at one of the recent Spice World Tour performances.

Mel B sets the record straight after Posh fails to show at Spice Girls Wembley gig

There had been hopes that old Posh herself would show up to one of the London gigs last month to sing and dance alongside Mel’s B and C, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton.

But the notoriously bitter faced ex-singer opted to skip the event to go to a party in California instead - leaving some fans feeling short changed.

Meanwhile, fans of the Spice Girls (minus Posh) may have reason to brace for more live music in the near future - as the ladies have already declared they will hit the road again in 2020.
