Haris Rauf does a Hardik Pandya in Pakistan's historic win against Australia - Watch

NEW DELHI: Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf displayed a confident celebration, reminiscent of Hardik Pandya's style, during the third ODI against Australia in Perth on Sunday.

During the 14th over, Haris, who claimed two wickets in the match, delivered a short-pitched delivery outside off stump. Matthew Short attempted a pull shot, but Irfan Khan, positioned at deep square leg, completed the catch successfully.

After taking the wicket, Haris performed a celebration similar to India's star allrounder Hardik Pandya's gesture from the T20 World Cup match against Pakistan, where he had dismissed Shadab Khan in a group-stage match.

Hardik had previously showcased the 'shoulder shrug' celebration when India secured the ICC title on June 29.

WATCH:

Pakistan achieved a significant victory as Saim Ayub scored 42 and Abdullah Shafique contributed 37, leading to an eight-wicket win and their first ODI series triumph in Australia in 22 years.

The team, led by Mohammad Rizwan, successfully chased down the modest target of 140 at Perth Stadium before the 27th over.

The outstanding bowling performance by Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf helped secure Pakistan's first ODI series victory in Australia since 2002.

Despite losing the opening match in Melbourne by two wickets, the team recovered strongly with a convincing nine-wicket win in Adelaide.
