A bustling pub in Bristol has been put up for sale with an asking price of £395,000.
The Hare on The Hill is a traditional local on the corner of Dove Street and Thomas Street North, a short walk from Stokes Croft.
According to Fleurets, who are overseeing the sale, the Kingsdown property has been under the same ownership since 1998 and is currently under a temporary tenancy.
The description on Fleurets' website goes on to describe the pub as a "substantial corner property providing accommodation over three storeys with trade areas at ground floor and living accommodation on the upper floor".
Given its prime location, walking distance from Stokes Croft, Gloucester Road and the University of Bristol, the watering hole is frequented by local residents, workers within the area and students, making it an attractive business proposition for potential new owners.
Fleurets describe the location as "affluent and densely populated" which provides easy access to the city centre.
The Hare on The Hill is linked to the founders of Bath Ales and still has the South Gloucestershire brewery's flagship ale, Gem, on tap, as well as favourites from popular Bristol breweries such as Bristol Beer Factory and Good Chemistry.
It was taken on by a new landlord in February this year, who did not want to comment on the sale, and Bristol Live has attempted to make contact with the owners.
Recent online reviews of the pub have been hugely positive with visitors praising the laid back atmosphere, new management and the range of beers on offer.
