Harding, a product of City University

Small banging of drum. James Harding, the new editor of The Times, is an alumnus of City University. As a Financial Times trainee, he took the 1994-95 post-graduate newspaper course in the school of journalism. He is the second City graduate to sit in a national newspaper editor's chair.
