Hardfloor acid techno legends playing Glasgow tonight

Legendary techno duos Hardfloor are set to play a blistering set in Glasgow tonight.

The pair will perform at Room 2 on Nelson Mandela Place in the city centre tonight from 11pm to 3am.

Formed in 1991, Hardfloor rode the wave of German acid and techno scenes to become one of the most iconic groups in the scene and their music includes elements of hip-hop, electro and breakbeat techno.

Let’s Go Back promoter and resident DJ Bosco said: "This is the 3rd time we've had them play. Every time has blown my mind.

Glasgow's SWG3 hosting alternative 80s club night next month

"They use three original Roland 303’s in their live performance. It’s intense. We’re all really excited about using Room 2 as a venue.

"The guys that run la Cheetah have done an amazing job.  It has a top of the range Funktion One system that was fitted by the guy that created it, so you know it’s going to sound incredible and really showcase Hardfloor at their best.

"If there’s one live band that deserve it it’s them."
