A hardcore punk band called "Fentanyl" has ditched the opener for their tour, a band called "Mexican Coke," after their front man's drunken behavior reportedly created a negative experience for concertgoers.

The alleged incident took place Saturday night on the Salt Lake City stop of Fentanyl's tour after Mexican Coke's singer "spent the entire show drinking in excess, treating young concert goers poorly, cussed out the audience and continued to egg on a group of drunk punks in the audience," according to a Reddit thread posted after in r/Hardcore.

u/1994HondaAccord posted that Mexican Coke's vocalist "refused to start performing until he had another beer in his hand," and just about two songs into the show, concertgoers began throwing cans at him. They added that "one of the drunk punks came up and started swinging on him on stage."

Another user commented under the post alleging that the singer also used homophobic and racial slurs, and threw beers in people's faces. The user also claimed that the singer "broke an $80 piece of microphone equipment."

While these reports are unconfirmed, Kenny Turner, the lead singer for Fentanyl, posted to X Sunday announcing that Mexican Coke would no longer be joining them on tour.
