The Covid-19 pandemic equals hard times for students. We discuss the impact of lockdown measures on their education and health. There has been a large demonstration in Paris this Tuesday, with students calling for access to their campuses and a more normal type of educational experience. Many have been kept away from lectures since March. We examine the impact this is having on them and look at the wider issues across the field of education.
France is our focus but the questions are relevant worldwide, where all students, teachers, lecturers and pupils are facing the same challenge: overcoming hard times amid the threat from Covid-19.
