The Washington Redskins are one of five teams unable to decline an invite to be on the next running of HBO’s Hard Knocks.
A decision on which team gets the nod is expected soon, as ESPN’s Field Yates pointed out.
The Redskins would certainly make for entertaining television given the dynamic at quarterback with the recovering Alex Smith and rookie Dwayne Haskins, not to mention guys returning from injury like Derrius Guice.
That said, it’s hard to imagine the show doesn’t go to the Oakland Raiders, a team with Jon Gruden, Antonio Brown and Vontaze Burfict, to name a few.
No matter which way it goes, the speculation should end soon.
