A friendly pooch is looking for a new place to call home.
Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for Rudi, an eight-year-old Springer Spaniel who is currently living at Dogs Trust’s West Calder Rehoming Centre.
His carers say Rudi is a friendly boy who adores people and loves a cuddle.
Rudi is deaf and can find it difficult to communicate, because of this he will need owners who have previously had experience in owning and training a deaf dog before.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “He is an energetic boy who loves being on the move, enjoying the outdoors and exploring new places, especially if this means jumping in the car and going on an new adventure.
“Rudi can find being left on his own difficult, he is easily bored and has been known to eat objects he shouldn’t. He will need someone at home most of the day to supervise and keep him company.
“Rudi loves being busy and is happiest when he is putting his excellent sniffing skills to good use. He can live with children over the age of 12 years old and would prefer to be the only pet in the home.
“If you think you could provide a home for Rudi or any of the 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, please contact the centre on 01506 873459.”
