The teenage daughter of Geri Halliwell celebrated her 15th birthday yesterday, with gushing comments from her former Spice Girl mum, step-dad and famous godmother.
Geri, who is married to Formula 1 team principal Christian Horner, posted a cute picture of herself with her lookalike daughter Bluebell and wrote:
"Happy 15th Birthday Bluebell! Another year older, it's amazing to see you grow as a person, we are so proud of you!!
We love you Blue.
Love Mama"
Bluebell is the spitting image of her mum, but with darker hair. Before Geri joined the Spice Girls, she was a brunette, working as a presenter on Turkish TV and looking just like her mini-me daughter.
Bluebell, whose full name is Bluebell Madonna, was born in 2006. At the time Geri, 48, said that she'd noticed bluebell flowers everywhere as she came to the end of her pregnancy. She also liked the family connection to the name, because her grandmother had been part of the saucy Parisian cabaret dancers, The Bluebell Girls.
Bluebell's middle name, Madonna, was chosen because the baby had been born screaming with "both arms flung wide in the air". Geri said it reminded her of the iconic pop star "as though she was shouting, 'hello, Wembley!'"
She added:
"No-one else has that name, apart from the Virgin Madonna and the singer, whom I love."
Bluebell's famous godmothers are Geri's former bandmates Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham. Emma was quick to reply to Geri's post, saying "Happy birthday gorgeous!"
Stepdad Christian also added a photo of them, writing:
"15 today! Happy birthday Bluebell - have an amazing day. We are all very proud of you x"
Geri had a brief relationship with Bluebell's dad, screenwriter Sacha Gervasi in 2005.
