Happy birthday, Andy Lau: actor and singer’s career highlights in pictures

With more than 160 films and 60 albums under his belt, actor-singer Andy Lau Tak-wah has become one of Hong Kong’s most popular entertainers since entering show business in 1981.

With the Hong Kong icon celebrating his 57th birthday today, we dug into the Post’s archives for some rare images of Lau that chart his rise from fresh-faced youngster to elder statesman of the Hong Kong entertainment industry.
