'Happy and healthy' girl, 3, dies suddenly in her sleep 'without any warning'

A "happy and healthy" little girl went to bed peacefully but then died in her sleep "without any warning".

Talya White, 24, from Bootle, Merseyside is still waiting to find out why her young daughter was taken from her so suddenly on April 16.

Annayah Rosa Balmer, 3, was "fine, happy and healthy" when she went to bed "peacefully" that Thursday night, but she tragically died before the morning.

Talya described Annayah as an adventurous youngster who loved singing, and that she would sing "any song that was on".

But her favourite artist to sing along to was Harry Styles.

Talya told the Liverpool Echo : "Annayah was a fine, happy, healthy little girl and on the Thursday she fell asleep peacefully.

Mum Talya, 24, recalled how Annaya loved to sing and loved songs by Harry Styles most (Liverpool Echo)

"We still don't know what the cause was and we're waiting to hear back because they said it could take up to six months.

"She was such a big fan of Harry Styles, she knew all the songs, all the words.

"Annayah loved her singing, any song that was on"

"When we were driving in the car and songs would come on the radio she would know straight away - she was like a jukebox."

Annayah's heartbroken mum also said her little one was a huge Liverpool FC fan, and her favourite player on the team was Mohamed Salah.

She addded: "She didn't act three, she acted about 33.

"Annayah was on the ball with everything and loved the outdoors, going to the park, climbing.

"She also loved Frozen as well, absolutely loved the films.

"She was good as gold, literally an angel child.

"Annayah also loved football, loved Liverpool, loved Klopp and Mo Salah was her favourite."

Now Talya has one wish which she hopes Harry Styles can fulfil for her daughter.

On October 8, Annayah would have turned four and the family are desperate for Harry Styles to respond with a birthday wish for the little girl for a charity night they are hosting for Alder Hey Children's Hospital bereavement centre.

Talya hopes a video of Annayah singing 'Adore You' by the former One Direction star will go viral and mean the singer sees it.

She told the Echo: "It is Annayah's fourth birthday on October 8, so we're doing a fourth birthday party and a charity night to raise money for the bereavement centre for Alder Hey Children's Hospital, who helped us so much after she passed.

"We thought it would be nice to get the video of her to go viral and maybe get a happy birthday video off Harry Styles for her.

"She would absolutely love it."

Talya said it has been difficult for the family but she is "trying to do everything" she can for Annayah.

She said: "We're doing okay and I have quite a lot of support and I have started going to counselling too.

"It's hard, but you have to take every day as it comes and try and do everything you can for her.

"That's why we're going to do the birthday party as if she was still here and the charity night in her name.

"You have to try and be strong."

The family are also hoping to host a football match with family and friends at Bootle Football Club to also raise money for Alder Hey's bereavement centre and to also pay tribute to Annayah's love of football.
