Japan Airlines Co. will reopen Terminal 1 of Haneda Airport in Ota Ward, Tokyo, which is used for domestic flights, on July 1, the company announced Monday.
The company closed the North Wing of the terminal on April 17 amid the accelerating outbreak of the novel coronavirus and consolidated operations such as check-in procedures into the South Wing.
As of Monday, only about 390 domestic flights, or about 50% of the preoutbreak level, were in operation.
