Hands-on mum Kate Middleton scoops up Louis as he runs towards horses at dad's polo match

Prince Louis is growing up fast and the royal tot is now very quick on his feet - as he proved to his mum the Duchess of Cambridge today.

Kate has taken her three kids to watch dad Prince William and their uncle Prince Harry play in a charity polo patch in Berkshire.

Meghan Markle and Baby Archie are also there to cheer them on.

The game, which is in honour of the late Leicester City owner Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, is the brothers' first joint engagement this year.

Proud mum Kate looked happy and relaxed in a long pink floaty dress and was very hands on when it came to looking after her kids.

She was seen carrying Louis and had to pick him at one point when he got rather excited by some horses.

The Mail's Rebecca English , who is at today's event, tweeted: "Little Louise just ran off towards the ponies and Kate had to scoop him up. He’s fast on his feet!"

He also had a little run alongside his proud mum, wearing adorable green shorts and a black top.

Kate was seen getting little Louis to wave to his dad as he prepared to start the match, which will raise cash for 15 charities supported by the royal pair.

The brothers’ joint appearance comes weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed they were leaving the Royal Foundation and setting up their own charity.

William and Kate will remain with the original charity, which will be renamed the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

William and Harry set up the Royal Foundation back in 2009, with Kate joining two years later.

The foundation said the move was taken to “better align” the couples’ charitable activities.

But the move sparked speculation of a further divide between the young royals after a turbulent year.
