'Hands down ruined' - fans have their say on Nottingham Forest's worst ever manager

Nottingham Forest fans have decided who they think is the club's worst ever manager.

To go along with our five worst managers in Reds history story, we asked fans to put forward their suggestions on Facebook.

And it's fair to say the majority of fans voted in favour of one particular boss.

He may have come in at five in our list, but David Platt, who managed the Reds between 1999 and 2001, is the most common suggestion.

Joe Kinnear and Gary Megson were also among those suggested.

Here's what a selection of Forest fans have said on Facebook.

Richard Ottaway  - "Kinnear was worst for me, his signings apart from Commons were awful where as Platt with Lester, Brennan, DJ and Megson with Tyson, Holt, Breckin both made improvements to the team. Megson was bad but the team he inherited from Kinnear was I believe the worst we've ever had."

Chris Cooper  - "Platt, not saying he was the worst manager but gotta be in the top 1."

Lee Good  - "Platt for me absolutely disgraceful, although witnessing Megson's Forest at hockey stadium playing MK Don's was a shambolic."

David Platt during his time as player/manager at Forest (Birmingham Post and Mail)

Lee Molloy  - "Platt, hands down ruined Forest in my opinion."

Gary Hunter  - "This is like asking a kid which present to open first at xmas...the choice is endless!!!"

David Bell  - "Platt, enough said."

Rob Haines  - "Cotterill worse than Montanier in m opinion."

Dominic Marvell  - "Platt, Megson, Mclarren, McLeish and O'neill....Kinnear actually saved us from relegation when we look doomed and we played some great stuff in the beginning it was the next season it all went wrong."

Robert Norton  - "Megson never took the blame for anything, so it can't be him."

Ian Slack  "Platt end of."
