Handmade posters accuse woman of 'weeing on benches'

Handmade posters have been placed around a town accusing a woman of 'weeing on benches' and telling people to beware if they happen to see her. A post on Facebook page Bilston Online caused a stir after it asked fellow social media users if they had seen the posters.

The post read: "Has anyone seen those handmade posters around Bilston about a woman? Somebody got creative and also really bitter," reports Birmingham Mail

One poster was taped to a blue lamppost outside shops in the town centre on Church Street. It included a person's face and a message in handwriting beneath it, which read: "Beware!!

"If you see this thing in the t own whatever you do, do not sit on the benches. She's probably p*** on them today." Social media users shared other posters which have been spotted in the town, featuring the woman's face and different derogatory remarks.

One man, who works at a nearby business, said he was aware of the issue raised in the poster. But he said he hadn't seen the woman in the town for a few weeks.

A woman who works at another nearby store added: "I know it's causing a bit of a furore online but I have never seen her."
