Rangers have booted out a loan offer from Lille for Hamza Igamane.
Rangers Review reports that the Ibrox club have laughed off the bizarre bid from the Ligue 1 side.
There is a fortnight left to go of the transfer window, and it seems Igamane's future will continue to be debated for that time.
Lille have been pushing to sign the Moroccan forward throughout the summer, but no deal has been reached with Rangers.
Formal discussions have been held in recent days in an attempt to find an agreement.
However, it's believe that their first offer was for a season-long loan.
It is understood that no fee would have been payable as part of the proposal.
This offer was immediately knocked back by the Ibrox hierarchy.
It remains to be seen if Lille will return to the negotiating table with a monetary offer that would tempt Rangers into doing business.
Igamane will command a significant eight-figure fee if he is to leave Ibrox.
He arrived just 12 months ago from AS Far in his homeland, with the 22-year-old scoring 16 goals in his debut campaign in Glasgow.
