Hamza Choudhury and Wesley Fofana hold up Palestine flag during FA Cup celebrations

Leicester City's Hamza Choudhury and Wesley Fofana held up a Palestinian flag while celebrating their 1-0 FA Cup final win over Chelsea.

Victory was sealed for Leicester thanks to a stunning strike by midfielder Youri Tielemans and a late equaliser from Chelsea's Ben Chilwell being ruled offside by VAR.

Choudhury and Fofana held each end of the flag while they made their lap of honour in front of fans at Wembley.

Choudhury then draped the flag across his shoulders as he went up to collect his winner's medal before lifting the trophy for the first time in the club's history.

Choudhury and Fofana showed their solidarity amid the latest conflict between Palestine and Israel, which has seen violence over the past few weeks.

Other sportsmen have also recently shared their views on the issue.

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury claimed his Instagram was hacked on Wednesday after a 'Pray for Israel' post was uploaded on his story.

He said in reaction: "Last night, I went on Instagram and found a political post on my story.

"Whoever's on my story: get the f*** off there, you little b******s. I don't get involved in any political conflicts or anything like that.

"As we all know, I am a man of the people. I represent all people from around the world, every country not just one.

"We all know that's not a real post by the Gypsy King. God bless you all, peace out and God bless all the people who are in conflict at the moment."
