'Hammers, screwdrivers and glass bottles' brought to Hucknall street fight

Police are appealing after being called to a 'large fight in the street' where four people ended up in hospital.

The incident happened in St Mary's Way in Hucknall at about 9.30pm on Friday, June 26.

Officers say it was reported "hammers, screwdrivers and glass bottles were seen" and at least four people received injuries which required hospital treatment.

Nottinghamshire Police is now appealing for information or footage of the incident.

PC Steven Van Der Bank said: “This incident happened out in a public place and I’m sure there will be people who captured what happened on mobile phone footage.

“This type of violent behaviour is completely unacceptable, and I would encourage anyone with information to come forward so that we can find those responsible.”

Anyone who has information which could help the investigation should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 873 of 26 June, 2020.
