Bell Shakespeare’s Hamlet, starring Josh McConville, Sean O’Shea, Doris Younane and Matilda Ridgway, opens in Sydney after touring the nation. Directed by Damien Rice, this production tells the familiar story of a family torn apart by murder and a son burdened with the truth, set during the cold war.
Hamlet’s private world is turned public, and with insidious surveillance, the audience are invited into a world of violence, madness and philosophical reflection within the walls of Elsinore.
