Hamilton v Rangers: Brian Rice names side for bottom versus top Premiership clash

Hamilton Accies boss Brian Rice has made one change as his side prepare to host Premiership leaders Rangers this afternoon.

Ben Stirling has dropped out to be replaced by Charlie Trafford in the only alteration to the side which lost 2-1 at home to Ross County on Wednesday night.

Accies are bottom of the Premiership, but will be looking to new loan signing from Aberdeen Bruce Anderson for inspiration as they bid to cause one heck of an upset at New Douglas Park, with Rangers yet to lose this season in the league.

Meanwhile, the visitors have made three changes from the midweek win over St Johnstone.

Kemar Roofe has been replaced by Cedric Itten in the starting 11, Bongani Zungu makes a surprise start ahead of Ryan Jack and Glen Kamara replaces Steven Davis in the heart of the Rangers midfield.

Alfredo Morelos is serving the second game of his three-match ban and misses out and midfielder Scott Arfield is still sidelined with an ankle injuiry.

The referee for today's clash is East Kilbride whistler Bobby Madde.

When the sides last met Rangers ran out 8-0 winners in a rout at Ibrox and in the first meeting in August, Gerrard's men claimed a 2-0 victory at New Douglas Park.

Kick-off today is noon.
