Hamilton ticket prices confirmed at Manchester Palace Theatre with some as cheap as £13

Tickets to go and see Hamilton at Manchester’s Palace Theatre next winter have gone on priority sale this morning, and some prices are as little as £13. Expected to be the hottest ticket of 2023, those who own an ATG TheatreCard or signed up to priority got early access to the site today (Friday, March 10).

General sale will go live on Monday, March 13 at 10am, and if you’re looking to snap up a pair, you might want an idea of how much you want to spend, as they can get pricey.

Tickets for Hamilton at the Palace Theatre have been split into nine categories, starting at £13 for a select number of tickets as part of ATG’s price promise. The £13 seats are mostly located in the Grand Tier, towards the back left corner.

Meanwhile, the most expensive tickets come in at £180 for a package seat within the first few rows of the stalls. Included in the ticket price is a VIP wine tasting in the Ambassador Lounge, Cloudy Bay wines, a luxury cheese board, interval ice cream and a programme.

Other tickets in the stalls vary in price, with some at £75, £85, £97.50, £135 and £160.

Up in the circle, prices start at £30 for selected seats, with some available for £55, with grand tier being mostly £55 tickets, with some £30 and £13 seats available too.

There is already medium availability for opening night on November 11, with ‘good’ availability throughout the rest of the 15-week run.

There will be shows Monday to Saturday each week, with matinees on most Wednesdays and Saturdays, too. There are no shows on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.

When we logged onto the ATG website for the priority sale at 12pm, there were more than 2,000 people in the queue ahead of us, with a 20-minute wait to get into the website. Once in, there was only 10 minutes to choose tickets and checkout - a similar system could be in place on Monday when general tickets go on sale at 10am.

Lots of people on social media have been very excited about bagging tickets, too, with @fiona_andrea tweeting: “Opening night tickets secured for Hamilton in Manchester!” Another user added: “Hamilton tickets for Manchester obtained,” with a party emoji.

Most seem to be pretty happy with the tiered pricing, with @westendlyds commenting: “So happy with the Hamilton tour pricing for Manchester, it’s actually not that steep god bless.”

Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton is billed as "the story of America then, told by America now". The ground-breaking production features a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, which takes the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton to create a revolutionary moment in theatre.

Known for the diversity of its cast in portraying the Founding Fathers, it has been hailed as a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education, and has won a clutch of top awards including The Olivier, Tony, Grammy and Pulitzer.

If you missed out on priority booking and don’t have access to an ATG TheatreCard, fear not, because tickets will go on general sale on Monday, March 13 at 10am.
