Hamilton thump derby rivals Motherwell ahead of crunch clash

Hamilton Accies ran up an emphatic 6-1 scoreline against Motherwell in a 'hastily-arranged' closed doors reserve game this afternoon.

Coach Guiillaume Beuzelin's side grabbed the win with goals from Callum Smith, Charlie Trafford, Tunde Owolabi, Reegan Mimnaugh, Ross Cunningham and a trailist, in a game that was the subject of a last-gasp venue change.

The two sides clash head-on at Fir Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday, with both sides looking for their first win of the new season.

Hamilton have suffered three straight defeats, while Motherwell have taken two points from their last two games.
