A newly-opened Hamilton takeaway made the ultimate gesture to a customer this week.
Boss Pizza, who created 20 new jobs in the town back in June, received a brutally honest note from one of their Just Eat orders this week.
It stated: “Terraced house on the left hand side of Knockburnie Road. Please use front door as my dogs are bams.”
Perhaps the customer was having a ruff day, but must have been cheered up after Boss Pizza head chef Mario decided to step in and buy the pooches some treats to go with the owner’s delivery.

Boss Pizza manager Ross Findlay explained: “Chef Mario reads all the comments and instructions fully before he proceeds with any order.
“But being a dog lover himself he totally disagreed and decided to leave his station and nip to our nearby supermarket and pick up a wee treat for the dogs too.
“He said he was going to deal with this and went out and bought them dog biscuits.
“We all thought he was having a laugh but he did and it was a lovely gesture.”
