Hamilton Street Sound event returns

Hamilton Business Improvement District (BID) is to host its second music event to celebrate local talent.

Hamilton Street Sound will return to Quarry Street on Saturday, July 27, between 1pm and 4pm with live music and a ‘Battle of the Bands’, with a top prize of £500.

The main stage will be at the top cross, with a small stage near Frankie and Benny’s and a gazebo on Campbell Street close to the Stonehouse Bar.

BID manager Gareth Walker said: “We want to celebrate local music talent and encourage shoppers and visitors to come along and support our event.”
