Police have locked down a street in Hamilton in response to an ongoing incident.
Officers swooped on Albert Terrace having received a call shortly after 10am this morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed to Glasgow Live police are at the scene with local residents reporting seeing forensics on the street.
One person has been rushed to hospital following the incident.
Glasgow Live are awaiting further comment from Police Scotland.
