Hamilton star Hakeem Odoffin on his "seamless" switch from Livingston during pandemic

Hakeem Odoffin insists socially distant bonding sessions with his team-mates has allowed him to settle in quickly at Hamilton after his switch from Premiership rivals Livingston.

The 22-year-old defender was snapped up by Accies gaffer Brian Rice last month after a trial at New Douglas Park.

And after starting both of their opening games against Celtic and Ross County, Odoffin says making the switch to a new club amidst a global pandemic has been straightforward.

He said: "It's been really easy, really seamless.

"I've been taken out with a couple of the boys, doing our social distancing.

"It's a nice area, nice people, good lads and the gaffer has been great since I got here.

"There's so much you can't do, it's hard to find things you can do.

"But one or two of us have been able to go to restaurants, make sure that we are social distancing and away from everyone else, in not too big a group, maybe one or two households and that's about it.

"It's been good."
