Hamilton striker David Moyo could be lining up for Zimbabwe at the Africa Cup of Nations come January - but he insists he must deliver at Accies for that to happen.
Moyo has been named in a handful of squads for the Warriors and has one cap. Ranked as the 118th nation in FIFA's world rankings, they have qualified for AFCON, which kicks off for Zimbabwe in January.
Senegal, Malawi and Guinea await at the group stage and Moyo is keen to be involved. But with Hamilton currently eighth in the Championship, Moyo's focus is in South Lanarkshire.
"Of course the Africa Cup of Nations is a target," said Moyo. "Everyone wants to represent their country. But I just want to score some goals right now and get climbing the table.
"We'll see what happens with it. We'll play it by ear."
Moyo has netted once in 12 matches so far this season and he's missed some games through injury. Head coach Stuart Taylor arrived in January to replace Brian Rice, who brought Moyo back into full-time football in 2019.
The striker admits it's been a period of transition, but things have shown signs of clicking.

"The season has been a bit up and down," said Moyo. "I got injured, so that wasn't great on a personal level. I think that with everything, you have to take the positives.
"The tide will turn at some stage. We have to keep putting in the same amount of work we are just now.
"(Rice's exit) was difficult for me, 100%. Now it's just about transitioning and taking in the new gaffer's philosophies. I seem to have fitted into it well so far.
"If you ask any player, they just want to be playing passing football. That's what you want to do - play football."
Accies were relegated into the Championship ahead of this season, and Moyo had only experienced Premiership football at New Douglas Park. The Zimbabwe international has been surprised by the league's talent.
"The Championship is better than I expected" added Moyo. "I obviously heard that it was going to be a slog and stuff like that. But it's not, there's good quality here.
"You need to respect every opponent and take every game seriously. I don't think the quality has caught us out as we don't take games for granted.
"It's just a transition of everything happening at the club. It takes games to get used to it. We will be right where we need to be once everything calms down."
