Jamie Hamilton says assurances have been given to him following the Hamilton defender's chest problems in November.
The 19-year-old had to be substituted in the New Douglas Park club's 1-1 draw with Arbroath last month, going down with nobody near him when the issue arose.
Accies have monitored him over the last month after Hamilton went into hospital for tests over the incident.
Thankfully, everything came back clear and he returned to action in Tuesday's SPFL Trust Trophy quarter-final against Kilmarnock, before featuring again in Saturday's 1-0 Championship win over Dunfermline.
Now his chest issue is behind him, the teenager is keen to kick on with Accies head coach Stuart Taylor's side.
He said: "It's been a difficult few weeks but I've speaking to the club. I got tested after I came off a few weeks ago and I passed them all. I feel brand new.
"I passed all my tests so in the end there was nothing there or diagnosed. It was a tightening of my chest and heart. That was it and all the scans have been clear.
"It was scary at the time but I've been reassured about things by the club, so I can get back to playing. Playing against Kilmarnock and Dunfermline has been brilliant mentally.
"So now it's all about getting back to full fitness and playing 90 minutes again. It helps if the team are doing well.
"I was feeling my hamstring when I came off against Dunfermline so I spoke to the gaffer about that. He's been good with me all the way through this. He's not forced anything on me."
Hamilton came into the game against Dunfermline off the back of a bruising week, losing in the Scottish Cup and SPFL Trust Trophy to Auchinleck Talbot and Kilmarnock respectively.
Winning against the Pars ended a four-game losing run and moves Hamilton into sixth in the Championship.
19-year-old Hamilton added: "It was a much-needed three points. The mood has lifted up a bit as we felt like we needed those three points. We needed the win.
"We weren't going to settle for a loss or a draw. It's all about game management and the boys all speak about it amongst ourselves. We've lost a few late goals which has been disappointing.
"We need to see games out more and against Dunfermline on Saturday we did that. It was good for us to get the clean sheet.
"We all know what Hamilton's about, we will never give anything up. We just have to go out and perform like we did against Dunfermline in other games. Then we'll see about climbing the table."
