Hamilton Accies midfielder Marley Redfern admits a draw with Morton is hard to take - but the New Douglas Park outfit only have themselves to blame after not taking their chances.
The Ton netted the leveller in the 1-1 draw at Cappielow through controversial means. Gozie Ugwu notched a header in the 96th minute with virtually the finally act of the Championship match.
Referee Steven Reid had only instructed for 95 minutes of stoppage-time to be played. Lewis Smith initially put Hamilton in front and the result leaves Accies in seventh.
Redfern says that while it's a bitter pill to swallow and some things are out of their control, he and his teammates should have put the game out of sight beforehand.
"It's brutal," said Redfern. "You could feel it in the changing room at the end of the game. It's very much two points dropped.
"We did enough to win the game but their goal right at the end is a sickener. There's nothing we can do about the time added on.

"People will say what they say, but we need to try and defend the free-kick that comes in regardless. People will point to different factors.
"But first of all, we need to make sure we aren't conceding free-kicks where opponents can put a ball into our box at the last-minute.
"We need to take our chances and go 2-0 or 3-0 ahead. We need to be killing off teams rather than allowing it to be 1-0 and giving the other team a bit of life.
"We need to be clinical so we aren't hanging on at the end. Regardless of what happened at the end, if we'd have been 2-0 up, we would have won the game."
Redfern himself was disappointed with a shot he missed in the second half. Smith put the ball across the box for the midfielder, but Redfern's effort was just over the bar at 1-0, prior to Morton's last-gasp goal.
"That shot I had was a sickener," explained Redfern. "It's bobbled just as I've went to hit it, but I should be doing better. It's a real tough league.
"There's not one game where you say it's going to be a bit easier. Each game has its challenges. We just need to keep the performances up."
The trip to Cappielow was Hamilton's third match in a week. Kilmarnock got the better of Accies last Saturday before Stuart Taylor's side beat Queen of the South 1-0 on Tuesday.
"It was a good performance and it's something to build on," added Taylor. "Everybody put in a hard shift and it's been a hard week. We've had Kilmarnock, Queen of the South and then down to Morton.
"We've had three good performances but we've probably not taken as many points as we should have done. So we are getting the performances. We now need to start taking maximum points."
