Hamilton head coach Stuart Taylor insists that his side are developing a culture which is helping them earn more Championship points.
Accies won Tuesday's league encounter with Queen of the South 1-0 thanks to a goal credited to Andy Ryan, who battled injury to make the match.
It moves the New Douglas Park club into seventh in the league ahead of a crucial fixture tomorrow with Morton, who are the division's basement team.
Taylor's men have responded to a bruising 6-1 home defeat to Partick Thistle with a positive performance against league leaders Kilmarnock - although they lost the match 2-1 - and victory over Queen's in the last week.
"Three games in the space of seven days is a physical and mental test for everybody," said Taylor. "It's good that we have had good performances. We obviously had a good performance and result the other night.
"We've taken positives out the Kilmarnock but we should have taken some points from that.

"It's going to be very tough going down to Morton. We are in a good place right now and we head into it with confidence."
Tuesday's winner looked set to be awarded to Josh Mullin after a sensational pass from Lewis Smith set up the chance, but Ryan nicked it on the line.
It hasn't been of concern to Taylor who gets it, as the entire Accies dressing room are pulling in the one direction.
"I always go on about doing things right as more often that not, you will get the result you want," explained Taylor. "If we keep playing like that, then hopefully we get the right result.
"We are making sure we do our jobs as well as possible. I thought we were relentless in how we went about our work against Queen of the South.
"The belief and confidence never dropped. We got our rewards late in the game. The guys aren't too bothered about who scored. As long we create chances, we'll eventually score goals.
"There's not a selfish mentality at the club which is great. We're building a culture where everyone is in this together and we take the plaudits together."
Taylor also provided a fitness update on Ryan ahead of the game, who has had to manage a fitness concern to pass available for selection this week.
"Everybody got through Tuesday ok but there are still a couple we need to keep an eye on," added Taylor. "Andy didn't start because of the concern we had for him.
"He came through the game ok thankfully, but we'll keep an eye on him to make sure he gets stronger each day. We need to make sure he's fit and available.
"With the quality and experience he's got, how he manages game, it's excellent. He's very important, but everybody is. He does give us more experience though."
